The distilling process of agave was introduced by the Spaniards on the XVI century and then revolutionized on the XVIII century gaining a significant popularity and benefiting mezcal, tequila and aguardiente. Unlike other alcoholic drinks around the world, this one is a ritual, ceremonial and recreation liquor amongst the Mexican people. Since centuries ago it has been commonly used on “Day of the Dead” “Patron saints days” and every Mexican social event including baptisms and wakes.
The company has as purpose to distribute a very high quality product by respecting the traditional harvesting and production methods. This generates a drink for the public intended to share and gather together. We are offering the following options of mezcal:
MEZCAL PAPA REY JOVEN DE AGAVE ESPADIN
VV100% Agave. Cooked in stone ovens with wood, keeping them covered for 4 days. Double distilled and settled for a short period of time giving as result a taste and scent of cooked Agave.
MEZCAL DON REY REPOSADO DE AGAVE ESPADIN
100% de Agave. Cooked in stone ovens with wood, keeping them covered for 4 days. Double distilled and settled for 3 months giving as result a light tone of oak.
Certificate of Origin
Our product abides to all international and domestic rules to guarantee the safety of the product and the process to make it a unique product. Planting, harvest, production and packing are performed in Oaxaca, Mexico. Mezcal is a product with “Certificate of Origin” awarded by Mezcal Regulatory Counsel. Mezcal is only grown and produced in specific areas in the world, one of them being Oaxaca. Mexican Official norm emitted by Secretary of Economy. (SFCI) NOM-0346X
